In a way, I feel sorry for this patient cat. The look on his face says that he can't believe that someone is making him stand still on his hind legs with a coat on! I hope he got paid with a lot of cat treats for his performance..
Start an image for this January composite was actually the snowflake swirl. You can see it's big low on the right. It took me a while to find the right image to put a snowflake over. I actually worked on two images for this challenge one was a couple kissing on the beach and the other one was this cat pulling a sled. But, in the end I couldn't resist the look on the cat’s face, so this is the one that got entered for the PFCC challenge.
I used two copies of the snowflake overlay (from Pixabay), one a mirror image of the other. I did put a black and white adjustment layer on each copy of the snowflake so the tan color wouldn't affect the color of my forest cat background (from Adobe Stock). To accentuate the snow falling I also added a grain texture and a dust texture layer, both also from AdobeStock.
Yes, it may be a little late in the season for snow images, but we did have an inch on Thursday, so I figured I may as well continue with the theme. ;-)
